About Tyle Scientific
Research rarely fits an off-the-shelf solution.
We believe your equipment should fit your research.

A pattern from the lab
No two problems
take the same shape.
Our emblem began with the branching pattern left as a PAGE gel pulled away from glass. Each time we run a gel, a different pattern emerges — a unique form that inspired Tyle’s visual identity.
Just as each pattern is unique, each bespoke solution is shaped by the research it serves. We explore, adapt and refine around your experiment, creating equipment that fits your particular needs.
The name Tyle draws on tyrosine and leucine — another connection to the science that started it.
By scientists,
for scientists.
Tyle began with a PhD student at UCL, studying the origin of life — and requests from colleagues for 3D printed solutions to problems in their own work.
Those requests revealed a wider need: practical equipment built by someone who understands the research behind it.
Today, Tyle brings design, prototyping and manufacture together in-house. Choose ready-designed labware, adapt a part to your setup, or work with us on something new.
Tell us about your researchOur technology.
We use a Bambu Lab X1 Carbon (X1C) printer with Bambu Lab filament to create precise, consistent 3D printed parts.
Keeping production in-house lets us refine ideas through physical prototypes and turn them into practical equipment built around your research.
